Don’t trash it, smash it! Join Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District and Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County on Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00am-1:00pm for our first Pumpkin Smash and 4-H Open House event to keep pumpkins out of landfills and compost them instead. We will have pumpkin smashing, games, crafts, face painting, light refreshments, and a 4-H open house. This event is open to all Sullivan County Residents, and we hope to see you there!

• Please do not bring tools, implements will be provided

• Please remove candles and decorations

• Rain date will be Saturday November 9th

• Drop-offs only begin at 9:00am (if you would like to compost your pumpkin but don’t want to smash it)

• Go online to sullivanswcd.org or call 845-292-6552 with any questions

• We will accept drop off only compostable pumpkins through the end of November, please call 845-292-6552 to set up a drop off time
